Dolores Hill Bomb 2020 is a photography zine by Antonio Vucic. This collection of photographs encapsulates San Francisco’s world famous annual skating event in its final rendition.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds gathered at Mission Dolores Park to celebrate San Francisco’s rich skate culture. The Dolores Hill Bomb is as dangerous as it is thrilling. Skaters, bikers, roller skaters, rollerbladers and more all partake in this yearly event.
Most go unscathed, many suffer minor injuries. This year we tragically lost Andrew Sanders, a cyclist, after he collided with a skater while riding down Dolores Street.
Antonio Vucic is a San Francisco native high school student and local photographer. All profits from this zine are being donated to Black Lives Matter charities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
